A very well designed website that explains some mechanisms of the brain. You can choose the level of explanation (beginner, intermediate, advanced). But what I like most is the multidiscipline aproach, it is possible to pick the level of organization - social, psychological, neurological, cellular or molecular. Worth a read.
There is also good material, on the sub-topic section, on pleasure seeking behaviour and pleasure and drugs. If you want to dig deeper there is also the option, click advanced, click "original modules" on the left side, or go and buy an António Damásio book...
